In Memory

Happy Memorial Day, everyone!

Although most of us think of BBQs with hamburgers, brats, cole slaw and picnics on this holiday, now I think of it as a lovely day off from chemo and radiation. I spent the warm Monday laying along Lake Michigan with Mark and Jaclyn playing scrabble. It was so relaxing.

But it is also a day of remembrance; remembering those that have passed. So, I would like to recognize those that were close to us that unfortunately were taken from us too soon (No worries, folks, the squatter ain't taking me down).

For those who wish to comment, please feel free to remember those loved ones by sharing.

Love, Hugs and Good Health!!!

What a great thought, Mom and Dad want to remember: Delane, Grandpa LeRoy Lind (who served in the Korean War), Grandpa Bob Buchanan (who served in the second world war), and Danielle Marie Matlock (Buchanan) who we lost in an auto accident on August 23, 2000. We also want to remember your great grandmother, Ruth Buchanan, who I am sure gave you strong strength genes.

We love you guys Mom and Dad

I would like to remember all of our servicemen fighting for our country all over the world. Their courage and bravery amazes me each and every day!!
To my good friend Brock Wolf who passed a year ago today and my amazing Grandmother Annette who battled ovarian cancer.
Kins, we love you dearly and miss you more than you know. XOXO

I'd like to remember Grandma & Grandpa Thompson who both lived a long and happy life with cancer as well as Kyle & TJ Curran who left us too early. We love you Mark and Kindra -- hope you're enjoying your visit from Jaclyn.

You are so sweet to remember others! I feel my mother's presence everyday & I know she is looking down on you helping you fry this squatter. In my family, I remember my mom, grandmother, and grandfather who all lost their battles with this dreadful disease. I miss them all everyday.
