Out with the Squatter, in with the Free-loader

Apparently on the way out, the Squatter passed some free-loading bacteria and told it to 'Hop inside! Warm accommodations ahead!' Obviously the squatter was a little bitter about the whole eviction process. So Mr. Freeloader decided to take up holiday (and I say holiday because it will be short) in Kindra's lower right abdomen. He built himself a nice abscess the size of a softball. This is what has been causing Kindra so much pain.

I visited with her and Mark today and she was doing much better in terms of discomfort. She is back on the Morphine, which is helping but not taking the pain away completely, until the abscess can be drained (I know, that doesn't sound fun at all). This will help her pain subside. Hopefully she will be off of the heavy pain meds today.

Kindra is amazing and was in good spirits when I saw her, which to me speaks volumes as she has been through so much. Like the Squatter, the Free-loader had no idea what he was in for when he chose Kindra. She is all business when it comes to the trespassers! Especially with this army behind her :)

Though they are at the hospital and away from the computer, her parents or myself (or anyone talking to them that are by the computer) can read Mark and Kindra the comments, so keep 'em coming!!!

Marnie

P.S. I forgot to give a shout-out to Jim Buchanan, it was his 65th b-day on the 26th! Happy Birthday Jim!

Kindra, I hope you get BB access soon b/c I've been sending some crazy, yet happy memories your way. If you don't get better soon, I might have to post a blog about what you did on the beaches in Cinque Terra...and that's just the beginning. Kidding. Love you and can't wait to spend more happy times together in Viva Las Vegas!

Kins, what a rude squatter to leave behind another temporary, unwanted guest. But I guess we knew what a dirty ol' squatter that thing was! I hope the morphine is helping while the antibiotics do their thing. I will keep sending you texts and hope you get them and they bring a smile to your face. But no laughing! Love you. Erin

Who the heck do these unwanted guests think they are? Will you please put a no trespassing sign up!! Be strong and let the doctors and meds do their things! We love you and we are sending lots of happy thoughts and smiles your way!

I was going to call you to visit w/ the kiddies like we talked about, but obviously, we'll hold off until you're back in the groove. Love and miss you! Bonnie
