Kindra, you were the sweetest kindest person to me and everyone around you. By the looks as if obviously none of that has changed. I don't really know what to say except that I have the fondest memories of our friendship. I miss you tons and want to give the love to your family, husband, and incredible friends that I am reading about here. You were truly one in a million.

There will be about 10 people from the North Shore Country Day Community that will be coming to celebrate Kindra's life. We will be coming after school is out, so we won't be there until about 4 or 4:30.

Dear Kindra,
When I heard that you had passed my heart sank. I know that you have gotten your wings because you were the most gentle, happy soul that I have ever met. Through my tears, all i could hear was your contagious laugh. We didn't see each other a lot, but the times that we did hang out, especialy St. Patty's and all those nights at Matilda's will forever remain fond to me. Thank you for being so great. I know your smile and good heart touched many. We are all sad to lose such a treasure on earth, but i know that you have already found your place in Heaven and will continue to check in on us from time to time.

Dear Mark,
You are a wonderful man and Kindra was so lucky to have found a person like you to spend the rest of her life with. I have never met Two people that never stopped smiling around each other. I am so sorry for your loss but I know that you have so many great memories to keep you going strong. We haven't talked in long time either, but you and Kindra made such an impression on me and I want you to know that since I can't make it to the celebration in Chicago. i love ya'll though and if there's anything you ever need let me know.
You are in my prayers.

Kindra and I were friends growing up and I have so many wonderful memories of her from those days. Her beautiful laugh and smile back then was as contagious as ever and spending time with her always brightened my day. I’m deeply saddened by her passing and so thankful she was loved by such wonderful family and friends.

Marnie,

I saw the website in the tribune. I recently lost a family member to cancer as well. They died too early, but was able to live a much longer life than Kindra. She left a great legacy. Please check out the Canary Foundation which is trying to find an early detection method for these types of aggressive cancers. They also have a linkedin group. Best Wishes and deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry for your loss. I read about your story in the sunday trib. Your story touched my heart as my mother is sick with metastatic cancer (breast). Kindra reminds me of my mother in her spark and spirit. Maybe they are "Kindra'd Spirits" in that sense. We have had some major setbacks recently and reading your story has given me peace.

Thank you so much for sharing.
