Here comes the bride....all dressed in ivory!

Hello family and friends!

2 weekends ago, Mark and I traveled to Peoria, IL (central Illinois) for Marnie and Thabu's wedding. Doesn't she look beautiful???? Thabu, you look handsome too. It was an amazing weekend full of pampering, entertainment, funny speeches and great friends.

I went down to Peoria on Thursday night with Marnie's cousin, Missy, and on Friday we had a spa day where we enjoyed pedicures, manicures and I received a facial. Friday afternoon was the rehearsal, followed by the rehearsal dinner where the Sprengers served up South African food (the lamb chops were yummy). Mark joined us that evening after driving down from Chicago. Marnie was hilarious with her comedic timing when she gave speeches about her bridesmaids. Give that girl some wine and a microphone and its magic. I also gave a toast to Marnie and Thabu that I hear was good from others and created many tears between Marnie and I.

On the wedding day, we had our hair done pretty and took amazing pictures outside of the hotel in the streets of downtown Peoria. We took some great "rugby style" photos that I can't wait to see. The wedding was beautiful and their vows were very personal (and funny, of course). I was focused on the ceremony first and secondly on making sure I didn't pass out in my heals and standing up there (don't lock the knees...they say). I did good, though, and after that the party began. It was a great dinner filled with great toasts (Marnie again on the mic), an adorable slide show, a photo booth as the guest book and lots of dancing!!! I even kicked it up on the dance floor and had to use some more creative moves in order to guard my belly. I took some rests up in the hotel room during the wedding and was able to stay up until 11pm. It was an awesome night and most importantly of all.....Marnie and Thabu had a great time!

Many thanks to Marnie and Thabu for letting me be a part of their special day! I love you guys so much! :-)

Love, Hugs and Good Health!

Kins - The photo is great and Marnie does look gorgeous. I'm so glad that wedding was fun and that you were able to bust-a-move on the dance floor. No wedding is complete without some Kindra grooves! Love you! E

First and foremost, Kins, you had the best toast at the rehearsal dinner, it had everyone laughing and crying. You looked beautiful & showed your strength all weekend. I love you and was honored to have you as part of our wedding.
Secondly, I was holding Thabu's beer bottle in that picture... I swear... And in every other picture taken of me that night...

Gorgeous pic of you and Marnie! The party aint the same without you, and especially the dance floor. So glad you had such a great time and can check a few more accomplishments of your list on the road to good health. Heels? check. Cutting a rug? Check. Rugby style poses? Check.
Love you!

PS: Marnie, I expect to see a lot more Thabu beer holding in Vegas!
