Some of Kindra and Mark's generous friends are throwing a benefit for cancer research in Kindra's honor. Please see the details below:
“Love, Hugs and Good Health”
This was Kindra McLennan’s signature sign-off on her personal blog entries, documenting her battle with cervical cancer, beginning with her diagnosis in April 2008. On January 2, 2009, Kindra died peacefully with her husband and close friends by her side. Her story is not only an inspiration for her friends and family, but also for the thousands who read her words and recognize her as a true hero.
Kindra promoted cervical cancer awareness through her blog and we hope to continue that effort at a fun gathering to raise money in Kindra’s name to benefit the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
This event is to honor Kindra’s spirit by raising cervical cancer awareness. With continued cutting-edge research, we hope to see an end to cancer in our lifetime.

I am so touched by this. Kindra was obviously an AMAZING woman. Many will benefit from her story.
Wish I could have made it, I'm sure the turnout was wonderful. It was nice to see Kindra's story on NBC too.
